Brenda Polk

Brenda is a native of the Thumb area and spent several years working in ministry in the greater Chicago area, in Steubenville, Ohio, and in Phoenix before returning to Michigan. She attended Michigan Tech University, and also holds an MBA and law degree. She practices estate planning and elder law with Sarah’s Law Firm in Shepherd and is a parishioner at St. Joseph the Worker in Beal City.

Brenda has sincerely tried to offer her life for the service of God through her work in various ministries, and she feels strongly about being a representative of Christ to the world most especially through assistance to the homeless, hungry, and victims of domestic violence. Through life’s various twists, she has relied on Matthew 6:34, “Therefore, do not be worried about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries of it’s own. Let the day’s own trouble be sufficient for the day.”

“I appreciates the opportunity to serve the CCFMM and hope to bring a unique perspective to my home diocese. ”
