Faith Formation and Religious Education Funds

The Elizabeth Gravish Endowment for Ave Maria Parish supports a wide range of Parish ministries: Christian camp scholarships, the Church library, and religious education.

The Blessed Sacrament Parish Endowment Fund promotes the religious, charitable or educational programs of the parish; enhancements to the parish, and promotion and marketing of the Fund.

With the intent of supporting religious education and youth programs at Blessed Sacrament Parish in Midland, and serving the disadvantaged in Midland County, the Winfred and Joyce Zacharias Endowment Fund for Blessed Sacrament Parish was established and continues to accept donations.

The Donna M. Sammons Endowment Fund for Catholic Education was created to honor Donna’s loving parents, Ann and Milan Cittel. It was established to support Catholic education in the Saginaw Diocese by funding education for lay ministers and seminarians and supporting Diocesan Catholic schools.

Catholic education is just one of the many needs the Fr. Frank S. Kozak Endowment Fund for the Catholic Diocese of Saginaw supports.

Making sure all children receive the opportunity to grow in God’s love was a priority of Fr. Kozak’s. The Fr. Frank S. Kozak Endowment Fund for the St. Francis Fund of the Catholic Diocese of Saginaw helps provide Catholic Religious education to children attending public schools.

Philip Richards deeply loved the Church, Saginaw, and the power of education. The Holy Spirit of Christ Endowment Fund in honor of Philip C. Richards provides scholarships for Saginaw Catholic and non-Catholic children to attend a Saginaw Area Catholic School.

Faith is carried on through our children. The Immaculate Conception Catholic Education Endowment Fund emphasizes religious education for the children of Immaculate Conception Parish.

In honor of Fr. Jeffrey Donner, the Lay Ministry Fund was established to provide assistance to people entering or improving their education for Lay Ministry, Theology, Pastoral Ministry education and training.

Lynn Trudell embraced her faith through her words and actions. The Lynn Trudell Endowment memorializes her life by funding Lay Ministry programs and Catholic Education in the Diocese of Saginaw.

The Alan and Ada Strasel Endowment Fund for Natural Family Planning was created to supplement expenses for education in natural family planning throughout the Diocese of Saginaw.

Stephen Konopnicki was a strong supporter of the Faith Formation program at Our Lady of Grace Parish. The Stephen Konopnicki Endowment for Our Lady of Grace parish is intended to fund the continuation of the program for the people of the parish.

The Sacred Heart Parish Endowment Fund, Merrill, Michigan, was created to provide for the religious, educational, and charitable needs of the parish. It may also help with parish capital expenditures/improvements.

Sr. Bernita, of Visitation Parish, spent her life teaching children to read and write. The Sr. Bernita Catholic Education Endowment Fund supports religious programs and educational needs for the children of Visitation Parish.

The Sr. Roberta Kolasa Lay Ministry Endowment memorializes Sr. Roberta’s love of the Lay Ministry programs through support of Lay Ministries in the Diocese of Saginaw.

SS Peter & Paul Parish created the SS Peter & Paul Catholic Education Endowment Fund to support Religious Education Programs and Catholic Educational programs for the children of SS Peter & Paul Parish.

The St. Boniface Endowment Fund, Bay City, Michigan, was created to provide for the religious, educational, and charitable needs of the parish. It may also help with parish capital expenditures/improvements.

The St. Henry Catholic Education Endowment Fund was created to enhance the Catholic Religious education needs for St. Henry Parish in Rosebush Michigan. The purpose of the fund is to provide religious education needs and other Catholic education needs for children of St. Henry Parish.

The St. Hyacinth Catholic Education Endowment Fund was created to provide for religious education needs for the children of St. Hyacinth in Bay City, Michigan.

The St. James Parish Endowment Fund, Bay City, Michigan, was created to provide for the religious, educational, and charitable needs of the parish. It may also help with parish capital expenditures/improvements.

In honor of Bishop Joseph Cistone’s commitment to Catholic education in the Diocese of Saginaw, the St. John Neumann Catholic Education Fund was created. This fund provides financial assistance to charitable organizations that emphasize Catholic education.

The St. John the Evangelist Parish Endowment Fund, Essexville, Michigan, was created to help with the religious, educational, and charitable needs of the parish. It may also help with parish capital expenditures/improvements.

The St. Joseph Parish Endowment Fund, Saginaw, Michigan, was created to help with the religious, educational, and charitable needs of the parish. It may also help with parish capital expenditures/improvements.

The Jeffrey Donner Memorial Campus Ministry Fund was created to honor Fr. Donner’s devotion to campus ministry at St. Mary University Parish, Mt. Pleasant, MI, and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Chesaning, MI. The Fund will continue to inspire students through campus ministries such as retreats.

The Frances C. Bowman Endowment Fund for St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Port Sanilac, Michigan was established in her honor to support a variety of parish projects including Christian camp scholarships, the Church library and Religious Education programs.

The St. Stanislaus Parish Endowment Fund, Bay City, Michigan, was created to help with the religious, educational, and charitable needs of the parish. It may also help with parish capital expenditures/improvements.

The Raymond & Monica Schultz Fund was established to honor this couple’s long-term, active involvement in St. Stephen Catholic Church (now St. Dominic) in Saginaw, MI. It provides funding for: tuition assistance for parishioners who wish to attend Nouvel Catholic Central Elementary and/or High School; religious education for all ages; Parish programs for youth; Parish child-care; capital improvements in the parish.

The St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Education Endowment Fund was created to provide for the religious educational needs of the children of St. Vincent de Paul in Shepherd, Michigan.
