The Louis J. and Veronica K. Furlo Family Scholarship Endowment Fund for Nouvel Catholic Central Elementary and High Schools was established by the Dr. Samuel Shaheen family in honor of Louis J. and Veronica K. Furlo. The Furlos lived their lives with God, Christ and their Catholic faith as priorities. Louis and Veronica kept an unwavering commitment to hard work, passion for the community and a calling to be charitable. The Furlo family has been a blessing to their friends, the Saginaw, MI community and their religious community. The purpose of the fund is to provide tuition assistance to students wishing to attend Nouvel Catholic Central Elementary School and Nouvel Catholic Central High School. Grants will be based on financial need of the student, the student’s moral character, achievements and work ethic, the student’s extracurricular activities, and additional criteria as determined by the Furlo and Shaheen families. The fund is open for contributions from anyone at anytime.
